VerifyQueue
01The rule

For accountants, solicitors and formation agents

Every director you act for has to verify by 18 November 2026.

VerifyQueue reads the register, shows who hasn't, reminds them in your firm's name and keeps the proof.

18 Nov 2025Identity verification became law. Every new director and person with significant control verifies before appointment.
by 18 Nov 2026Every existing director and PSC verifies, at their company's next confirmation statement. Free at GOV.UK, or through a registered agent.
afterA company with an unverified director can't file its confirmation statement, and the person is committing an offence.
2027Anyone filing on a client's behalf must be a registered authorised corporate service provider.

A firm with hundreds of client companies has hundreds of people to chase, each with their own date, and no list of them anywhere. This is the list.

02Your queue

One list. Sorted by the date each company stops being able to file.

Paste your client company numbers. VerifyQueue reads every director and PSC from the Companies House register, including who has already verified and through whom, and keeps reading it every day.

Specimen entries. The names are invented; the columns are the real ones.

readVerification status comes straight from the register. You never type it in, and you can't get it wrong.

03What happens

Reminders go out in your firm's name. Codes come back to you.

  1. You paste company numbers

One per line, or a CSV from your practice software. About ten minutes for a whole client list.

  2. The register is read

Officers, PSCs, verification status and each company's confirmation statement date.

  3. Each person gets a short email from your firm

It explains the rule, links to the free GOV.UK route, and gives them a private page of their own.

  4. They send you their personal code

On that page. It's stored encrypted and shown only to your firm, and every viewing is recorded.

  5. You file, and mark it done

Through your own agent account, as the rules require. Reminders stop by themselves the moment the register says a person has verified.

05Questions

Things firms ask before they start.

verifyingDo my clients have to use VerifyQueue to verify?
No. Verifying is free at GOV.UK and most directors do it there. VerifyQueue tracks who has and who hasn't, reminds the rest, and collects the personal code you need to file.
filingDoes it file with Companies House for us?
No. You file through your own agent account. VerifyQueue gives you the person's code and a record of everything that happened, and lets you mark the filing done.
dataWhere does the data come from?
The public Companies House register, through its official API. On top of that we hold only what your firm enters. Personal codes are encrypted.
afterWhat happens after 18 November 2026?
Verification doesn't stop. Every new appointment needs it, and from 2027 firms that file for clients must be registered agents. The queue keeps working.
whoWho is behind it?
The people behind UK Company Hub, which has published Companies House data and guidance since 2026. Write to hello@verifyqueue.co.uk and a person replies.
